Celebrating Our 2026 Scholars of the Year

At Generation Hope, we have the privilege of walking alongside student parents as they pursue their educational goals, care for their families, and create new possibilities for future generations. Every year, we recognize a Scholar from each of our Scholar program regions whose leadership, perseverance, academic achievement, and commitment to community embody the spirit of Generation Hope.

Student parents represent nearly 1 in 5 college students nationwide, yet they remain one of the most overlooked populations in higher education. Today, Generation Hope directly supports 200 teen parents across three regions and has celebrated more than 270 degrees earned by Scholars.

Being named Scholar of the Year honors the determination required to navigate college while parenting, the willingness to seek support and give it back to others, and the impact these student parents have on their families, campuses, and communities.

This year, we are proud to celebrate three exceptional student parents whose journeys reflect the strength, determination, and leadership we see across our Scholar community every day.
