HOPE 2024 Conference Logo

New Orleans, LA | March 13-15, 2024

We hosted our first-ever national conference to help make economic mobility possible for the millions of student parents and families across the country.

What is the HOPE Conference?

Three amazing days of connection, learning, and fun. HOPE is designed to bring together student parents, education leaders, policymakers, nonprofit professionals, and philanthropists from across the country to work together to accelerate economic mobility for families — a gathering that is needed now more than ever. By helping to create strong connections among change-makers, HOPE serves as a place for new and brave thinking around the practices, organizations, policies and systems that need to shift to help families thrive.

  • Connect

From the moment you arrive, you’ll find yourself among a group of people who are as dedicated to families as you are. Together, we’ll challenge each other to think in new and different ways and have fun in the process.

  • Discover

Our curated sessions, speakers, and experiences will help you roll up your sleeves, go a little deeper, and get answers to your biggest questions. Walk away with new learning and next steps to advance your work.

  • Enjoy

Where you are matters. HOPE 2024 will take place at the New Orleans Marriott set against the backdrop of the vibrant and rich city of New Orleans. Our discounted room rate is $239 per night plus taxes.

Funds raised from the conference will help fuel Generation Hope’s life-changing work

Fewer than 2% of teen parents earn a college degree before they turn 30, but Generation Hope Scholars graduate at a rate that is on par with the national average for all college students and is almost eight times the rate of single mothers nationwide. We’re also working with higher education institutes and policymakers to drive systemic change, removing barriers for thousands of student parents across the country. Learn more about our work.
