The Fast Facts
Dates: Wednesday, April 9 - Thursday, April 11
Location: Gaylord National Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center: 201 Waterfront St, Oxon Hill, MD 20745
Parking: Guests may choose valet or self-parking. Self-parking ranges from $19–$43, while valet ranges from $40–$67 depending on duration.
Hotel: Check-in is at 4:00 pm. HOPE 2025 registration will open at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, April 9 at the Camellia Pre-Function, 7:00 a.m. on Thursday and Friday at the Riverview Foyer, April 10 & 11.
Conference Attire:
Attire for HOPE 2025 is casual — we want you to be completely comfortable. If you feel more comfortable in business attire, you are more than welcome to wear business attire.
A couple of additional notes on attire:
If you plan to participate in morning yoga on April 10 at 6:00 AM, please bring clothing that will allow you to stretch, etc, and a yoga mat.
For our “Night of Light'' Gala on the evening of April 10, please plan to wear cocktail attire.
HOPE 2025 App
The HOPE 2025 app is now live! In the app, you can create your profile, sign up for breakout sessions happening during the conference, connect with others and so much more.
You can download the app for free on the App Store or Google Play from any smartphone (Android and iOS):
Search for “Cvent Events” and click “Download”
Open the App and in the search bar, type “HOPE 2025”
Login using the Name and Email address you entered during registration
You’ll receive an Email and Text with a confirmation code to complete your access. If you do not receive it, please check your junk mail
Once you are in the App, please take a moment to set up your profile and upload a photo
What’s on the App?
The App will give you access to the most up-to-date information about the event. You’ll see the full agenda, breakout sessions available, maps, instant notifications, National Harbor, MD information and more.
Click on “My Schedule” for your personalized schedule, including the different breakout options you have to choose from including the time and location of all the events.
Use the App to network, chat with each other, post pictures of the event and share your excitement with other attendees.
Get the most out of HOPE 2025
There is still time to sign up for our additional pre-conference sessions and field trips to get the most out of your time at HOPE 2025.
Pre-Conference Sessions:
"Student Parent Data Institute" will begin at 9:00 am EST on Wednesday, April 9
Field Trips:
Trinity Washington University (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ET)
Visit Generation Hope’s National Office (2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET)
The cost is $85 per attendee, which includes transportation to and from the Gaylord Convention Center.
To add a field trip or pre-conference session, click "Already Registered" and enter your email and confirmation number. Then click "modify registration" and "tickets" to select your field trip.
Social Media
Generation Hope will be sharing exciting moments throughout the conference on social media. We encourage you to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or Threads and to join in using the hashtag #GenHOPE25. Check out the HOPE 2025 Workbook to learn about our Social Media Challenge (pages 10–11).
Gala Ticket Reminder
If you are already registered for HOPE 2025, you will receive a complimentary ticket for the gala. Please complete your Gala ticket reservation using these three steps:
Visit our Night of Light Gala website, click “Buy Tickets,” and select the "Individual Gala Ticket"
Complete the form with your personal information and meal preference.
On the Checkout page, input any seating requests and enter the complimentary ticket code (you received this via email) just below the Transaction Fees listing on the right side of the page (this will create a $0 ticket and remove all fees).
Thank you for taking a moment to complete this and help prepare us to confirm meals and seating arrangements. Let me know if you have any questions or encounter any issues with the system.
Childcare Details:
Registration for child care is closed and we are unable to accept onsite registrations due to caregiver ratios.
If you have registered for childcare, Black-Tie Babysitting will be providing their services to you and your families this year.
We will be providing care in Eastern Shore 3 on Wednesday for all ages. On Thursday and Friday, for children ages 4 years of age and under care will be provided in Mezzanine 3 and for children ages 5 through 12 years of age care will be provided in Mezzanine 1.
Some age group specific reminders are as follows:
Infant Care -
A supply of diapers and wipes will be needed.
Beds will be available.
A refrigerator will be available. We do not mix bottles or administer medicine. (Emergency medications only e.g. Epi-pens, etc)
Toddler Care -
Please pack the following meals: breakfast/ AM snacks for Wednesday through Friday, dinner for Wednesday, and lunch for Friday. Generation HOPE will provide lunch on Wednesday and Thursday ONLY and Dinner on Thursday ONLY.
Please label personal property.
Please bring a change of clothes.
Toys will be available.
Care for older children -
Please pack the following meals: breakfast/ AM snacks for Wednesday through Friday, dinner for Wednesday, and lunch for Friday. Generation HOPE will provide lunch on Wednesday and Thursday ONLY and Dinner on Thursday ONLY.
Black-Tie Babysitting will not be responsible for any personal devices brought in.
Please encourage your children to let sitters know what their needs are while in our care.
We do not administer medicine. (Emergency medications only e.g. Epi-pens, etc)

Please plan to bring in a labeled and packed meal for the times not mentioned here as well as a substitute if your child does not like the items in the menu or has an allergy to anything being served.

Basic Needs Donations
During HOPE 2025, we are collecting donated items for young families in Generation Hope’s Washington DC Scholar Program (160 teen parents who are attending college and their children). Check out the list of items we are collecting:
Hygiene products (pads, tampons, razors)
Diapers sizes 1–6
Baby wipes
Baby & toddler socks
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, lotion) for adults and children
Cleaning products (laundry detergent. dish soap, sponges, towels, washcloths)
Toilet paper & paper towels
Educational toys for children ages 1-9
Books (board books, picture books — particularly those that affirm marginalized identities)
Carbon monoxide detectors
Office supplies (index cards, highlighters, Post-It notes, pens & pencils)
Gift cards to Walmart, Target, Amazon, and gas cards
First aid kits
