Angel Brown
Family Program Coordinator

I am Angel, a proud Towson University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services and a former educator with a passion for uplifting others. As a wife and mother to one amazing son, I strive to lead by example—motivating those around me and helping them recognize and build on their strengths.

Joining Generation Hope has been an incredible honor, as their mission to advance economic mobility and dismantle barriers rooted in racism, poverty, and lack of access deeply aligns with my own values and purpose. Being part of this inspiring team allows me to contribute to creating lasting change and generational success for others. Outside of work, you can find me throwing down in the kitchen, enjoying the great outdoors, or diving into creative projects that let me express myself through art.

Why I chose this quote:

I chose this quote because it suggests that the struggles we go through aren't meaningless. Instead, they shape us into stronger, wiser, and more compassionate people. The obstacles we face are not only for our growth, but also for the benefit of others. By overcoming hardships and disappointments, we gain the strength and perspective to help those around us who might be facing similar battles. This quote encourages me to keep going, not just for myself, but because my perseverance might one day inspire, support, or uplift someone else.
