Welcome, New Generation Hope Team Members!

We’re so excited to be growing our team. Get to know the newest members of our staff, below!

Marlee Breakstone
Senior Policy Manager

Hello! My name is Marlee and I am so so excited to join the team at Generation Hope and serve as the organization’s first Senior Policy Manager. Prior to working at Generation Hope, I worked both at nonprofits and on campaigns to elect progressive candidates. Most recently, I worked in the reproductive health, rights and justice movement at an organization called Catholics for Choice. Driven by my values and her commitment to social and reproductive justice, I am thrilled to begin this new chapter and work at an organization with a mission that I support so deeply. I am also a proud graduate of the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Outside of work, I can be found visiting local thrift shops, doing puzzles or exploring DC with my rescue dog, Rutihie (RBG).

Linda Garcia
Learning & Innovation Coordinator

I am a Southern California native who graduated from the Catholic University of America with a BA in Psychology, a Minor in Education Studies, and a Certificate in Spanish for Healthcare. I grew up seeing the lack of resources her mom, aunt, and sister faced as teen parents, and thus was captivated by Generations Hope's mission. I have a passion for helping others in any way I can. I began as a mentor with Generation Hope and was thrilled when I saw an employment opportunity open with GH. As the Learning & Innovation Coordinator, I can pursue my love for serving others as part of an organization whose mission and values have a special place in her heart. In my free time, you can find me taking endless photos of my fur baby, Pickle!
